I spent most of last weekend working on my website, building my Cafepress store on my own domain. I started the thing last spring, got frustrated because it looked like crap, and decided to ignore it for a while. I think my problem was that I was building it from scratch when I have the html skills of a three year old. So it sat there looking retarded all summer until last weekend I was suddenly motivated to finish it. I went a different route and downloaded a template from one of those free template websites, modified it a bit, replaced all the graphics, and it looks awesome. It looks like a real website. There was some hair pulling involved when I plugged in the Cpshop code and it kept breaking my tables. But I figured it out, and it’s finally done. Yay! Now I can start promoting my shop because it’s not embarrassing anymore. i CAN has website!
